Chapter 1: About Me
I began my journey as a Marine and a mission to serve my country. I could not have anticipated that my military service would ignite a passion for travel. My initial deployment provided an extensive introduction to international destinations. When our ship crossed the equator the adventure began. Some of these destinations range from Spain, to Japan, Africa, Korea, the Seychelles Islands and the Philippines. Each destination profoundly influenced me, and through my blog, I am now able to share those experiences with you.

Chapter 2: First Stop Spain
How excited I was to visit the vibrant city of Barcelona, Spain. Land of flamenco rhythms and sun-soaked plazas. The architecture of Gaudí, the lively streets of Las Ramblas, and the Gothic Quarter's rich history were a feast for the eyes. The local cuisine with its bold flavors and unique ingredients was a culinary adventure in itself. I marveled the intricate carvings in the walls and the beautiful people young and old. All smiling and laughing as they walked the cobble stone streets. I was a young Marine amazed at what I was seeing. This was just the beginning of my journey.
Chapter 3: The beaches of Lebanon
In the heart of Lebanon. The awe Baalbek, inspiring the ancient bustling ruins streets of of Beirut, and the serene beauty of Cedars of God were stunning. Even though I did not walk the streets, our helicopter flew over some of the most iconic landscape I've ever seen. When we touched down at our LZ (Landing Zone) the backdrop was breath taking. Ill never forget it.
Chapter 4: Shores of Seychelles
My journey continued to the picturesque shores of Seychelles. The pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and lush greenery. Paradise on earth. Though our time was limited I took in a lifetime of memory. The camaraderie with fellow Marines and the friendships formed with locals added a personal touch to my travels. If ever there was a place I want to revisit it is this place. The weather was amazing. The breeze coming off the ocean, the aroma of
Chapter 5: Japan
Next was Japan. The city of Okinawa and the historic landscape. The culture, the people and the food was like nothing I've ever come across. I traveled to mountains that were greener than anything I had ever seen. The beaches were out of this world beautiful serene yet tranquil. When my comrades and I had leave we would venture out to hike the island and see the sites. Every time we came across a village the locals would invite us into their homes to talk about the culture and its people. Our final visit though Japan took me to Mt. Fuji. Nothing could prepare me for what I saw. One of the tallest mountains in the world and the reason why so many people wanted to see this land.
